Hope’s End Wine Release Party
A few weeks ago Ryan and I had the pleasure of attending the release party for Hope’s End Wine, a fantastic new red blend from Angove Family Wines.
This was our first time at a press event like this and we had so much fun! A super sweet blogger friend does PR for the winery and kindly invited us, so we spent the whole night feeling extra special for getting to attend.
The event was held at the Roosevelt Room in Downtown Austin. It was super dark inside so pictures were tough, but it was the perfect venue for the dark, intense wine being showcased. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into the night. I think I assumed there would be more forced socializing/networking or even a sales-type pitch, but the event focused solely on the wine - just the way I like it!
They had an apothecarist on hand to create custom elixirs for each attendee. We were able to choose our own ingredients and watch her blend them together, then take them home to ferment for a few weeks before using them. Super unique and such a fun party favor – in addition to the bottle of wine we brought home ;)
Finally, the wine itself was fabulous – dark and earthy yet incredibly smooth. The Hope’s End brand was crafted with the 25- to 35-year-old red blend wine drinker in mind, and I think they did a great job. Angove also served three other wines at the event, including their fantastic Old Vine Shiraz, The Medhyck.
Thank you Angove Wines and Trinchero Family Estates for hosting such a fun event, and thank you Liz for the invite!
